The Fifth Grade class at The Willow School in Gladstone, NJ participated in the 2014 Species on the Edge: Art and Essay Contest, sponsored by the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey. Students were asked to submit an essay and artwork on one of the 82 endangered or threatened wildlife species that live in the state. Over 2000 entries were received from across New Jersey.
Contest judges were impressed by the content and quality of the entries submitted by The Willow School fifth grade students. The committee was pleased to announce Lauren Radi, first place winner and Evan Bravstein, runner-up, both from Somerset County.

First place winners were invited to attend an awards ceremony on Thursday, May 29th in Trenton.
