Whether you are a parent searching for a school you can trust to provided your child with a quality education or a parent of a current student seeking updated information, we hope you will find the information set forth in the pages of this website useful in helping you better understand the educational opportunities available to our students.
The Willow School was founded on the principle that each student should be encouraged to discover and develop his or her natural talents, and to use those talents not only for personal benefit, but to benefit others through service. Our students learn in an environment that fosters independent thinking, creativity, self-reliance and integrity. Our students are encouraged not only to seek academic excellence, but also to experience the joy of learning and develop an appreciation for the wonders of the natural world.
You are invited to explore our website and visit to our campus, where we not only teach the principles of conservation and sustainability, but apply those principles by operating The Willow School as a green school. Our facilities were designed to promote connections between indoor and outdoor spaces, with large windows, high ceilings, natural and recycled building materials and include a new Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Center, which will produce more energy than it uses, harvest more water than it consumes, and generates no waste that is not used for other processes.
Speak with our teachers and our students, and experience our wonderful community of educators and learners in action. The Willow School faculty understands that at the heart of a great school lies a deep level of respect for each student and a curriculum that challenges students—not just academically but ethically and socially as well. Ask our students about our virtues curriculum and their service projects. Let us know your hopes and desires and we will assist you in gathering the information you need to better understand how The Willow School can help your child realize his or her full potential.
