Admissions
and Financial Aid
The Willow School admits children who are capable
of success in the school’s accelerated academic program. The
school seeks children who are motivated, curious, inquisitive, responsible,
and respectful toward themselves, others, and the world around them.
Willow School children gain from, and contribute to, the school’s
focus on the core virtues, learning in the process to be members
of the school community and the larger communities in which they
participate. They are motivated to engage in the school’s
curriculum, and academically prepared to take full advantage of
the school’s teaching and learning environment.
The Admissions Process
Admissions activity begins in the fall
of the year prior to enrollment. Parents
may request an application packet or make an appointment to visit
The Willow School by contacting the Admissions Office at 908-470-9500
x1015. Personal tours, including classroom visits, are conducted
during the school week.
To apply, please complete and return the
application forms which are available from our office with a
$75.00 non-refundable application fee (please make checks payable
to The Willow School). Applications that are received on or before
February 1st will be evaluated during the month of February,
with notifications to be made in March. Applications received
after February 1 will be considered to the extent that openings
are available.
Upon receiving
your application, the Admissions Director will contact you to arrange
for an assessment to determine your child’s
readiness for The Willow School program. In addition, Kindergarten
Applicants will participate in a playgroup during the month of
February. Grade One to Grade Eight Applicants will spend
the day in the grade in which they are currently enrolled.
Willow
seeks candidates who are curious, creative, and eager to learn. Our
goal is to make the admission process a positive one for each candidate
and the family.
The Willow School admits students of any
race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges,
programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to
students at the school. It does not discriminate based on
race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of
its educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic
