The Willow School invites friends and neighbors to register their school-aged children for one of our Experience Willow days on November 9 & 10. While New Jersey public schools are closed, our doors are open to visiting students in Kindergarten through Seventh Grade. Friendly classmates, interesting discussions, project-based learning, and outdoor recess on our beautiful, wooded campus all make for a fabulous and fun school day. At Willow, our students enjoy an education firmly rooted in a wholesome and natural childhood.
Willow offers experiential education, a virtues curriculum, and relaxed classroom atmosphere where children learn to love learning. Children in the lower school enjoy recess twice a day, when they are free to join in a pick-up game of soccer, walk in the woods, or build with branches and rocks. Fort building is a favorite activity at Willow. Our middle school students enjoy one recess, as well as their choice of electives including Architecture, Debate, and Percussion. Lunch is made fresh each day by our chef, and enjoyed family style at small tables with lively conversation. Visiting students will be partnered with a Willow buddy who will guide them through the day. In our small classes, visitors will quickly get to know everyone, and will be sure to leave with new friends.
