In March, Willow’s seventh and eighth grade Latin students participated in the National Latin Exam, competing with over 153,000 students from all fifty states and 20 foreign countries.  Both classes performed extremely well; 13 out of the 19 students who took the exam won prizes.

In the seventh grade, 4 students won purple ribbons for outstanding achievement; 3 students won achievement certificates; and every student scored at or above the national average.

In the eighth grade, 1 student won a silver medal maxima cum laude; 2 won magna cum laude; 3 won cum laude; and the class average exceeded the national average.

Congratulations to all the participants for their diligent and successful pursuit of excellence!

Sincerely,

Ms. Miller
