The Willow School’s co-educational Athletics program is available for students in the 5th through 8th grade and runs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm, unless there is a competition.

The program begins on the first Monday after the Middle School trip and consists of three seasonal sports:

Soccer
Fencing
Track and Field

Instructors may be Willow faculty and staff, parents, and/or independent sub-contractors from the community. In addition to developing skills in various sports, students benefit from the inclusive nature of the program.

An orientation session for participating students and their parents is scheduled prior to the start of each season. The Willow School Sports code of conduct is reviewed and affirmed by all players. Students learn to value teamwork, develop leadership, and broaden social relationships.

This program is free of charge. However, there may be equipment charges and/or participants may need to provide their own equipment. An annual physical, health update, and concussion form is required to participate.
